Description
Since the arrival of both rogue Cretaceous creatures (dinosaurs that slip through the open time stream) and the eco warriors, plantation owners have had to protect their crops from scavengers (dinosaurs go crazy for the tannins in tea). This protection is done by breeding and keeping tyrannosaurus rexes and feeding them from birth on red meat and fresh tea leaves.
The tea makes them docile/tame enough to ride or even just let wander on your premises. Dubbed Tea-Rex, this modern breed of dinosaur is a plantation owners' best ally against tea thieves be they cretaceous or just opportunistic humans.
